The CareerTrackers Program
CareerTrackers is a national non-profit organisation that creates private sector internship opportunities for talented Indigenous university students.
Leveraging the 40-year legacy of the INROADS African-American internship program in the United States, CareerTrackers has adapted this model to address the unique needs and desires of Indigenous Australians.
CareerTrackers recruits pre-professional Indigenous university students and links them with private sector employers to participate in a multi-year internship.
Students perform their internship with a sponsoring company with the aim of converting from intern into full-time employee upon completion of their degree program.
In addition to making long-lasting placements CareerTrackers provides a wide spectrum of support services to help prepare students for leadership in the workplace and the community.
Through participation in CareerTrackers companies are able to add to the diversity of their workforce as well as help young Australians.
CareerTrackes is a recognised tax concession charity and an item 1 endorsed deductible gift recipient organisation.
